Discovered the coolest food today.
Chocolate Fish. It's strawberry marshmallow covered with chocolate shaped like a fish. (evidently, it's a New Zealander thing) It's sweet, but not overly so.
Poor chibi-Kaito's freaking out. It's chocolate. But it's a fish. Fish Scary. But... but... chocolate! Chocolate Fishie!
*shares popcorn with chibi-Saguru and watches the show*
It turns out that Christchurch is a city that prides itself on being more British than Britian. Y'know all that research for TGZ about British slang? Turning out pretty handy. ^__^
However, the game of Cricket remains a mystery... >_o
Vocabulary Words:
To Let - For Rent.
Situation Vacant - Job Opening
Situation Wanted - Want a Job
Hash Key - Pound Key (on a Phone)

Guess what we did today? ^______^
-looked at places to rent, actually. ^^;;
Random observation: Light Switches are flipped on this side of the world. In the States, if the switch is up, the light is on. Here, if the switch is up, the light is off. You flip it down to turn the lights on.
Evidently, Wi-fi isn't so common down here, so typing out the journal entries every day on the laptop to put up later. My apologies if I end up spamming f-lists.
Hearing about the riots in France a lot.

I'm perfectly fine, apart from a bit chilled, especially since I'm in Scotland, Aberdeen at the moment.
Was a bit worried about my sister who's studying in Paris this year though. She's fine, gets no where near the troubled suburbs, and it's blown over now...
(Makes me wonder whether my Nana called mom to ask about it? Shall ask at Christmas.)
Anyways, nice to see you settling in -^___^- hehe
(hummm Chocolate~)
