"Good Lord," Hakuba paused on the street and blinked. "I haven't seen one of those since I was a little kid."
Kaito followed his gaze and frowned. "What's a Police Box?"
"It's an old telephone box," Hakuba explained. "They phased them out years ago though. Police used them to communicate with each other, and sometimes they'd lock criminals up in them while they waited for backup to arrive."
"Yeah?" Kaito gave the blue box a considering look. "It'd be a bit squashed in there, don't you think?" He sent a rakish smile glittering Hakuba's way.
"Don't even THINK..."
"Scuse me, pardon me, comin' through!" A tall man pushed through the two of them, closely followed by a fiendishly giggling blonde female. The couple sprinted into the telephone box and slammed the door firmly behind them. Hakuba gawked after them, while Kaito burst out laughing.
"Well clearly SOMEONE'S thinking about..."
With a peculiar wheezing sound, the box disappeared.
The two boys stared at the empty space for a few moments.
