Weekend Retort - The Monsoon Version

the clouds say 'gwaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrromnomnomnom'
-Welcome to Monsoon Season! It makes for awesome sunsets. ^__^
-Friday-
Took the bus to Megs' house friday night, but first I had to move a traffic sign out of the road where the bus stops. Tire tracks-? Do NOT belong on the sidewalk. @_@;;
-as of last night, the sign was missing. From the kickmarks around the remaining stump, think someone's got a new ornament for their bedroom.
-Saterday-
Everyone got together and hung out. Was supposed to work on garb but was not braining correctly to do calculations for size, so didn't. Ysabet made ice cream and cobbler. omnomnomnom.
-Sunday-
Now have a D&D group! I play a Spear-Carrying Halfling Warlord named 'Insert'. There's some debate if the last name is 'Here' or 'Foot'. Also? Chase scenes with Dwarves are funny.
Last night we had awesome evening rains and the start to some decent lightening. The weather sites kept saying that the wind was only about 5mph/8kph, while my skirt kept trying to do a Marilyn Monroe and my earring stayed horizontal on my ears. M'not getting into the waist-length fly-away hair.
Then the rains kicked in and I dragged Ysabet out for a walk. Usually m'the first to complain about getting wet, but there's something about the water evaporating off your skin almost as fast as it lands that's kinda cool. Got back from running an errand and both the rain and the wind had died down to barely anything.
-So I check the the weather sites and they say that the wind is 27mph/45kph. *facepalm*
Am currently fascinated by the 2008 video for Where the Hell is Matt?. He certainly can't dance, but the music's nice and I like watching all the people have a good time. Also? 42 countries! \o/

Nevermind, Ysabet gave it to me. It's not the version that I remember, but still pretty good.]
