Weekend Retort

A 'Hen-Henna Party' at Megs' house. Turned into a Cheesecrack event, everyone but John showing up. Some of us henna'd our hair, the rest played Smash Brothers Brawl. Much fun was had by all.

Posadnitsa Ianuk's vigil for her much-deserved Laureling. Ysabet went, I didn't, instead preferring to curl up and cackling that there was no one around.Mwuahahahahahahahaaa >D
-Saterday-
Great Helm! We went to the morning court, to watch Ianuk get her Laurel. It was a nice ceremony, I especially liked the water and the fire parts. Even if I did have to ask a pavilion to keep it down so I could hear what was going on. >P
Went to Ali Baba's for a late lunch, then wandered back to Megs' house before going to a Kanate meeting. Which didn't quite work out as some people couldn't come, so we had pie instead. Then back to Megs' to watch Slayers. \o/ We're almost done with the first season, then on to my favourite! Next!
Found a futon on the kerb outside of Megs' place. Well, half of one anyway. *purrrrrrrrrrs* I can has futon on floor! ^_______________^
-Sunday-
'Happy Undead Zombie Jesus Day', as my sister likes to call it, then promptly get smacked for it. ^^;; Got together with Cheesecrack and celebrated by watching the undead and undying of Torchwood Season II all day.
Literally. We caught up on the entire season, all 11 episodes thus far, in one day. My mind is still boggling.
Busy weekend, but quite as busy as I feared it would be.
Ficcage: Astro Boy - Growing Pains yays! it topped out at 13,000 words! *whew*
