Well, I didn't get it.
-the object in question was a schweeeeeeeeet ibook G4 made for graphics use, about $40 more than the motherboard is going to cost to repair. The first advert was taken down, flagged by craigslist, and second put up. I responded to both of them within hours of posting.
Just got a response to my first e-mail, two days later.
They're now in England. If I want the laptop, gonna hafta deal with a third party.
So yeah. M'thinking scam. ;_; Woe.
Other than that, not much going on.
Writing is slow due to coughing fits (Ysabet doesn't exaggerate about how much we cackle while writing) and borrowing other people's computers feels weird. Imagine it's something akin to using someone else's wand in Harry Potter... you can use it as a focus to do magic, but it doesn't work quite as well.
That and got really annoyed after an annoying bout of 'when are you going to post pretty shiny fic to entertain people kthx', so we're kinda sittin' on stuff that's almost completed. Nyeh. >P *grumbles* Our usual fandoms aren't biting anyway. Will post prolly in a few days after betas are done with.
And Megs is doing her damnest to get me back into Slayers. And she's succeeding, dammit. -_- Was even plunnied today.
