Squeeeeee Weekend.

We visited Fourth street, which is Tucson's trendy/retro/hippy/artsy/college area.
Major Happy: We got a top hat!!! -it's black, but still. Been wanting one for years and this one fit and was $11. Yay. Picture coming soon.
Lesson From Major Happy: Top Hats are not meant to be worn in 100f/39c weather. Will wear incessantly when it finally gets below 80f/26c. In about two months.
Also picked up a blue patchwork skirt for cheap (which amuses us due to the random cherries on it) and a beaded Fishie Hairclip that sends our inner Kaito screaming and our inner Detectives cackling, which is good because they need that sometimes.
And then there was anime and chips and deep-fried meat and friends and it was love.
Sunday:
Trip to IKEA up in Phoenix with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dqbunny and ysabet for bookshelves. Didn't find any bookshelves, did get a new fabric chest thingie to act as a stealth foldy dresser for my clothing, so it's no longer in baskets where the cats can reach to piddle cause there is a LID. *happy*
Also had Toejam. A jar of Cloudberry Jam rolled off the cart and exploded in front of my sandals, so now my toes know what Cloud tastes like, but I don't. Ah, well.
Got back late, discovered the Fandom Secrets thing, found out that YGO-R ch 40 came out and amused Ysabet by going 'Guh' over the last panel of the chapter for about fifteen minutes.
Cannot wait for next chapter. The shadow contrast... *Drooools*
And then glutted on Manga. Crossbone Detectives, Gals vol 1-2, Zombie-Loan, Aoi Destruction, and a few others we deleted. Couldn't quite get into Reborn!. This is one of the very few times where -all- of the characters annoyed me from the start. Kinda weird. Does anyone know if it gets better?
Monday:
Zombie-Loan massively good. Tried to sleep, wrote a Detective Conan/Zombie-Loan crossover, finally slept about 3am, got called in early, watched all 8 episodes of the anime, wrote a a second Detective Conan/Zombie-Loan crossover, killed people on chat, had my named changed to "Squidsquishies" and now I'm going to sleep.
Yays!
