... Meanwhile we're going to try to finish off this chapter today... *yawns* Don't hafta worry about the same question with Yuugi and Jounouchi in this chapter, they're already covered.

Weekend Status Report

It's been... an interesting yet good weekend.

Um... let's see... Saterday, went to Bookman's and ran across a Palo Verde Beetle wandering around on the sidewalk and attempting to walk into the store. These beetles are really really big... 0_0 this one was about the size of my palm. Picked it up and moved it across the street to an empty lot area with a tree, so it didn't get squished.
... it didn't really seem to appreciate this and chased me back across the street. ^^;;

Then headed down to 17th street market and found... dun Dun DUN!! AN ELECTRIC KETTLE!!! I CAN NOW HAS TEA!!!
... well, could before, but now we can have hot water for tea in only a few minutes without heating the whole place up. #^^# Yay tea!!!

So then I henna my hair (yay red!) and Ysabet and I start to plan on a 'lounge around the house in pjs' night when I get a call asking if I can nanny the little baby I do on the weekdays. I say sure.
-long story short, stumble home at 4am, having dealt with a slightly colicky baby and brushing off my data entry skills as we all try to get accounting schtuff done before today. @_@ (usually have about 60wpm with over 95% accuracy on numeric entry. I don't think we did quite that well last night.)

Zombie Icka! today. ^^; Have no idea how well we actually did or how much I earned, but it was interesting. *shrugs*

Was sironamacgregor birthday party today, had fun at Macaroni Grill. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIRONA!!) Was my first time eating there, they had big sheets of paper on the tables and three colours of crayon. 'Eggplant', 'Florentine' and 'Red Peppers' or something like that. Ended up drawing a vine that turned into Audrey II and a bleeding skull and crossbones. Also then drew a naked (fig leafed with a cake with a LARGE candle) elf as a birthday card for Sirona, which highly amused the women sitting at the next table. Ysabet got a tomato bath and a free dry cleaning. Much fun was had by all. ^______^

On the way home, ended up finding some lovely dark green nail polish by the same company that makes my favourite green nail polish colour, 'Daisy the Pig'. *snickers at the name* Sinful Colors has some of the weirdest names... this one is 'San Francisco', but it's forest green. Go figure. Still not dark enough to match my jade. Ah, well. Still happy bouncy squee.

And the weird-cool thing of the day, we stopped by a store and started talking to the guy at the front register when I went up to ask about the price of a bracelet that didn't have any tags, he thought I had a british accent. And the place was dead, there was no one there.
Long story short, he put the bracelet in our bag and a couple of chocolate mints without charging us. O_O
Weird. But cool. Hope he didn't get in trouble for it. #^^#
