ladyblue42? Could you pass on to Chandra that the Piss Boy currently has a place of honour in the loo? Facing the toilet even.
One of the coolest inventions ever - Electric Jug. (it looks like a jug instead of a teapot) Fill it up, put it on the stand, flip the switch. Two minutes later, you have a full jug of boiling water. Serious drool factor here.
Vocabulary Words:
Lift - Elevator
We have a car now too. It's a Nissan Pulsar, 1997. Kinda like a mini-station wagon, plenty of room for storage for camping or events. Two tone: Black on top, silver on the bottom. Turns on a dime, s'nice.
I have a big mug for tea. BIG mug. One of those oversized novelty glass beer mugs that prolly holds over two litres. (or not oversized, depending on how much you drink, I guess....) Kinda feel like that one joke, 'My doctor told me I could only have one cup a day, here's my cup....'. But it works well. ^___^
Turns out that David is a Weatabix fan. Yup, had it for breakfast this morning. Yup, it tastes kinda like bran flakes with the texture of cardboard. But it's kinda cool, it comes in little cakes about half the size of the palm of my hand that you toss into the bowl. (I heated mine up)
In NZ, the slogan is 'Kiwi Kids are Weatabix Kids'. In Australia, the slogan is 'Aussie Kids are Weatabix Kids'. Not a terribly creative marketing slogan, but I guess it's adaptable. Kinda wondering what the slogan is in the UK.
Serious happy - have found TWO Electronica stations in Christchurch. XD XD XD Getting my electronica music fix!! I like Pulsar better, it plays Dance and Trance while 107.7 plays more Jungle and House style music. I like more variation in the back beat than that. #^^#
-In LA, I found 2 Electronica shows (which meant they played it for 3 hours a day) and in Tucson, one late night electronica show. Two twenty-four hour Electronica Stations? Major happy. *sings along* "Come Mister DJ, if you can hear me, turn the music up"
Sorry if I'm boring everyone. Feel like I should be writing fic as a thank you or something, but right now there's just so MUCH going on I'm constantly bouncing around. My brain hasn't shut off and stopped buzzing since we got here.
Looks like we may have internet at home starting next week, so won't hafta do these hit-and-runs at net cafes and I can actually read my friends list. Miss you guys!
