AFK for a bit

No internet for me for a while. ;_; So updates/fics will be sporatic.
Taking advantage of the downtime to finally scan in and create a webpage from my trip to japan in April. (so y'all can see the glory of 'insert love tool here' ^^;;)
In cool fic related news, had an e-mail request if they could translate 2 of our Takagi-Sato fics to Spanish and some of Inuyasha fics have been nominated for an award. o_O (we've been out of the fandom HOW long?!)
-Anyone else notice that the DC section of FF.net is now called 'Detective Conan/Case Closed'?
Demon's caught 2 more birds in the past 2 days, both Mourning Doves.
The first one, he walks in the the bird in his mouth around 23:00, sets it down, looks at me and licks the head as if to PROVE that it was dead. He then disappeared into a corner and there were crunching sounds.
-when I finally found the body, all that was left was some unidenfiable blobs, some feathers and a lot of red-coated birdseed. Ew.
Then last night I was just drifting off when I hear the window move and the sound of wings. He was dragging in another one, still alive. When he sat it down (bird sat there, confused) I grabbed Demon, threw him in the bedroom and took the bird outside. Think it got away.
Demon took over the bed again today. I'm sensing a pattern.
Fun job related question:
How many years of experiance do you have with computers?
Had to stop and think. Remember learning my alphabet and how to use a keyboard when I wasn't quite tall enough to reach the desk on what Dad said was an NES computer, with 5½ floppy drives. (I thought it was a Commadore 64, cause I remember thinking the newer small 5½ were funny) Dad also turned the orange and black monitor into a TV once. That was funny.
Also remember thinking that Windows 3.1 was the coolest thing ever because there were pictures and it was in colour. Must have spent hours playing with the colour palletes, with all the funny patterns. Even if the windows were a pain to keep closing.
So I can honestly say that I have around 20 years experiance with computers and I'm 25 years old. o_o Huh.
