[fic] MK: Itch

Okay, I start writing this because there was this annoying itch right under my left shoulderblade that we were blaming one of our tattoos on, but it wasn't because it's in the wrong area for our tattoos, unless they decided to dance again.

So any pervertedness that you may read into it is Not Our Fault, because it started out as an innocent little fic.
... then we went and scanned a bunch of pages from DC #44 and I dunno what happened.. ^^;;

Thanks to Becky and Mati for their help in answering random questions and figuring out how Kaito's name was gonna be said at the end of the fic.

Poor Hakuba's just not having any luck on Humorscope again.

Hakuba: You will spend another day surrounded by idiots, or perhaps by well meaning but simple folks, who will drone on and on until your smile becomes forced, and you will begin to look like a deranged rodent.

Aoko: Excellent time to hum popular songs, just slightly off key. If you do that long enough, the people around you will change in appearance. You'll be able to see the veins in their neck, for one thing.

Kaito: Unbeknownst to thee, thou art over-fond of archaic terms. Prithee, wouldst thou kindly desist?

Poor Hakuba... ^___^ And Kaito's currently singing bawdy songs in the changeling fic.

Chinatown Dragon Parade

Decided to go to Chinatown in Downtown Los Angeles today.
Which turned out to be both a good thing and a bad thing, seeing as the Dragon Parade was today. Lots of people, but not as many as there could have been, since it did sprinkle a bit. Was really excited because this meant Lion Dancers and they had some of the long Dragons too, which were so very very cool. (i.e. gave us many costume idea)
And kids had lots of fun scaring away deamons by setting off small fireworks. Was rather amusing talking to a guy who grew up there, he was commenting that people oftentimes thought that they were playing a prank or being mean by tossing poppers in front of you, when they're really spreading good luck. *chuckles* Was a very cool guy to talk to, he knew the history of the whole area.
However, the Marching Bagpipers in kilts were a bit confusing. What do Bagpipes have to do with Chinese Dragons? o_O (not that we're arguing, adore bagpipes, but it was just a little odd)

Also tossed some coins into some bowls for luck, but I don't know what the bowls were labelled, so we'll see what kind of luck I have this upcoming year. ^__^

And it turns out that China town is only a 5 block walk from Little Tokyo if you go by the Police Station, turn at Union Station and cut thru Historic Olveria St. ^__^ Sugoi! (we'd been told it was several miles, but I think it was because people were getting lost)

*bounces* Sorry, had fun.

Oh, anyone who visits Little Tokyo? The Asahiya Bookstore is closing... o_O

PYP: Cousins
Was just trying to figure how people would interact. So far they have 2 camps, the Hat Brigade (Heiji and Kaito) and the Holmes Brigade (Conan and Hakuba), who must be on the lookout for mischievous pranks from the Hat Brigade, but are armed with their snarky wit and well timed barbs. ^__^

Actually, am slightly confuzzled.... There's a comment in one of the reviews on ff.net about Kaito 2.0 (which makes me wonder just how many people read the LJ and not say anything o_O *paranoid*), and people seem to like the idea, yet have yet to get a single comment on the original... M'not digging for reviews, just kinda confused and wondering if we goofed.

Black and White - Werewolf fic.
We need to practice drawing guys, because their entire hip region is a pain in the neck for us to draw. Have question with girl anatomy? Look in the mirror. Guy anatomy... ye-ah. -_-
So we watched Shingo wander around in a comforter for a few hours because his clothes were getting washed and that helped, since he's the only guy I know who is honestly built like a CLAMP character. (m'serious)
As far as the picture, shut up. *makes faces* It's not in the fic, we just wanted to draw the tail. Nyeh.

AU WiPs
Kaito 2.0 (sequel to Humanitas ex Machina ), Werewolf of London (working title) and Moon Child (part of 'The Wizard' universe).. Once again, working on drawing guys, hence the lack of shirts. Shut up.

... anyone else notice that he's no longer wearing the white loafers? He switched over to white saddle shoes, with laces. Conan's wearing them too, on the cover of Super Digest #20. Practical.

CHALLENGE PIC
Have no clue what is going on here. Not a single one. Just thought it would be a fun pic to draw. Good expressions and all that.
So obviously then, the challenge is to write a fic/drabble/something to explain what the heck is going on.
And have Fun with it! That's the most important part. ^__^
