checking in ramble
Dec. 13th, 2003 01:28 amSpending the weekend at Neechan's and it's off to an awesome start. For one thing, I set a new record on time it takes to go from the South Bay to the Antelope Valley. 5½ hours. ^^;;
... had an old time table so missed the number 2 by a few minutes, so instead of waiting an hour, took the number 1, but it only went part way, so took the Green line Metro to the Blue line Metro to the Red line Metro to Union Station. (instead of just the number 2 to Union Station) Which was neat, ended up talking to cool people.
So had over an hour to kill before the next train left and ended up wandering around Olvera Street, which was cool because it was some sort of holiday (Our Lady Guadalupe, I think) so lots and lots of people were there. ^__^ Was tons of fun. Also found Worry Dolls for 'Neechan, so they can do the worrying for her.
Ysabet, they have your sandles there on sale too.
Anyway, having fun with people and drawing. Ryuutchi's Christmas pic is ready to be scanned when we get back, and somehow got wrangled into a Narukami-kun pic with chains and snakes and leather pants oh my for Neechan. o_O (Which is cool, means I don't have to do research for a 'Luffy as Bondage' pic.)
Uriel's pic is currently in progress as we try to figure out where Heimdall's horn goes and wishing that we had brought some of the manga along so that we can dress Gullinbursti in black leather. Still debating on the sunglasses and studs tho.
This is what I like about taking requests for art, streaches our talent in ways we wouldn't have thought of otherwise... *laughs*
[EDIT] had not realised just how bad my montior was, could not see those squicky blobs. >_< Will get new montior and re-save art work so it's clean.
