Okay, either I needed to get more sleep last night or I really shouldn't have spiked our morning hot chocolate with coffee...

The rabid plot bunnies are back, and boy are they messed up. I think it's a defense mechanism against stress, actually. Looks like one of my co-workers is getting laid off, but not really sure.

It's a good thing my co-workers are used to me breaking out into spontaneous laughter for no apparent reason. Also probably a good thing that our face is sun-burnt from this weekend...

Note to self: Look up lyrics to 'love the one you're with'. "When the eagle flies with the dove..." *Snickers*

Quickie from the bike ride this morning:

Fog. He loved fog. There was just something mystical about the way it covered the earth in a silvery white blanket, turning everything ordinary into a glimmering wonderland.

Of course, his alter ego loved fog even more. White wasn't exactly easy to hide at night in, but it did blend in perfectly with the shifting vapours.

Also was great fun popping in and out of the mists both as him self and as the Kid to surprise people. With a little help from a simple prop, of course. It was so much fun to watch people jump sometimes.

Speaking of which, his target was just in sight now…

Aoko looked up at him in amusment tinted exasperation. “Oh, take the sheet off your head, Kaito. I know it’s you.”

“Dangit.”

It felt odd having not sent out a warning message before performing tonight's caper. But it wasn't like he was really stealing it either. He was merely borrowing it for the night. He wasn't even taking it out of the vault. No one would ever know.

Though it did feel very strange to having snuck into a building with no policemen around. Heck, it had been harder to get into the country than it had been to get into the bank itself!

But he really hadn't wanted to leave England before discovering what happened in the latest Harry Potter novel...

Yeah... had plot bunnies for Naruto series and Midnight Blue's wonderful 'Mirror of Maybe' Harry Potter fic as well. May type them up when we get home. The mental image of Draco Malfoy running like he's got the devil on his tail while waving a pair of War Mage Ash's underwear like a battle flag amuses us greatly, yes.
Something like 24 days before the new Harry Potter novel comes out too... thinking of going to a line party, sounds like fun!
Oh, the guy got sacked.
