Icka: Yeah, there's a lot of slash in Inuyasha, espeically between Fluffy and Sesshourmaru.
Sean: ... Wait. Aren't they the same person?! *snicker*
Icka: Oops. Wait!!! No, not if the Japanese Version and the English Version got together and made wild mad passionate rabu-rabu love and I'm very sorry you walked into that one.
*Waitress filling the soda who came in about 'mad passionate' smiles and quickly walks off*

Nope. Inuyasha isn't a very slashy series at all. Just because Inuyasha pulls out his sword and it grows when ever he faces one of the guys... then when Kagome shows up it shrinks and he puts it away is no reason to think that there are any slashy possiblities.

Oh, MOrgan? About MacGyver? Did you know that Murdock is a crossdresser?

Sweet gods, that 'swords' thing is now glued inside my skullcase. Thanks.

And you are right in that it's kinda hard to see any slashiness in Inuyasha when you've watched it long enough. And to even consider Inu/Sess is downright creepy.

Likewise, there are a few series that I will leave 'straight', such as G-Gundam and Detective Conan (Magic Kaitou, on the other hand...). My current 'slash-friendly' anime, though, is Last Exile.

*chuckles* Wasn't reading slash when I was still in Inuyasha fandom... one of those things that kinda crept on me when I wasn't looking.

The other fun one with Inuyasha involves Naraku... if memory serves, he turns into a tentacle monster about the same time every month that Inuyasha turns human. Coinidence? *innocent*
And the fact that he can clones himself off and seems to be building himself a harem is kinda odd too.
Fluffy's whip also holds possiblities. ^^;;

... when checking doujinshi in Japan, found lots of Sess/Inu and Inu/Miroku ones.

Yeah, joking aside, prefer our DC pairings straight and non-shota This does not mean we will not see the possiblities and not make fun of it however. >D

... and I forgot completely what I was gonna say... huh... ((Huggles Iori))

... It's confirmed. Maybe it's the societal repression, or perhaps it's because the Japanese fans have known the series longer than other fans, and therefore are bored, but the Japanese fandom will *always* be weirder than the American fandom. I'm never gonna look at Naraku the same way again.>.<

And yeah, the shota factor must have been what kept the Detective Conan English fandoms relatively clean, compared to other popular shows(AffNet has no Detective Conan whatsoever, and I am glad there ain't).But it could be a matter of time...

Thanks for the huggie. ^.^

Po'e sends me as a harbinger. Don't hit the messenger! (then again, I wrote it. Hit me. Hard.)

After school. Kaito sitting on the desk, declaring "To be or not to be, that is the question". Aoko throws skull at him: "Not to be. Clean!"
