Happy Bastille Day!!!
Jul. 14th, 2003 09:30 pm"Fête Nationale", or Bastille Day is the French Independance Day. Go them!
Saw Sinbad today and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen on Saterday... League was good, but Sinbad was the first movie I've seen in the theatres that actually had me leaving the theatre grinning and swatting plot bunnies since we saw Pokémon 5. Which is why I think we stick to animated films instead of the live action. You leave the theatre feeling pretty good.
Was very cute, who ever wrote it must have been to lots of Renn Faires, or participates.
Anyway, I'm gonna go put milk out for the faeries tonight, is a full moon. We used to do this every full moon, and the milk would be gone in the morning. Then one night they stole the dish for the milk, and they've never drunk it since then. o_O But it keeps stuff from running off. *shrugs*
Speaking of which, if anyone sees a house imp go running by waving a paycheque from last month in the air and cackling, could you send them back this way? There's no pressing need for it but we'd just like to know where it is. ^^;; (they do this every so often, is their way of saving money for later on) Thanks. ^_^

Huh..... **scratches head**
Date: 2003-07-15 03:35 pm (UTC)Wanna go see Sinbad; the classical Voyages of Sinbad was one of the first hardback books I read as a child, though I didn't understand 3/4 of what I was reading-- all the ribald jokes passed RIGHT over my head, being that I was only about 7 or 8; I understood them later! Sinbad looks to be right up there with Pirates of the Carribean in the Good Movies category; I've never understood why anybody wants to watch films that make you leave all depressed. Have you seen the previews for the live-action Peter Pan? It looks GORGEOUS! Finally, they're gonna do it like it was written!
If I see a house-imp go flying past carrying your paycheque, I'll see if I can drop-kick the little sucker your way. I know they mean well, but..... Mine all seem intent on stealing my hair-ties (or maybe that's Spot; keep finding 'em in the bath-tub for some reason) and the manga I was just reading, which never seems to be where I left it at. There's something to be said for direct deposit.....
