So was talking to Ysabet and Morgan and brought up that I'd read some of the Lupin books, who has greatly influenced 'my' Kaitou Kid.
They wanted to read them too, so posting links here. ^__^

Arséne Lupin at Cool French Comics
Includes a timeline of the character, kinda interesting. Reflects a lot on the period.

Includes the one of my favourite Lupin stories, his arrest (he wanted a quiet vacation)

Also has one of the Lupin Stories. They also have a number of Sherlock Holmes novels.

Got into Detective Conan, which has thus resulted reading Sherlock Holmes, Arséne Lupin, Agatha Christie, not to mention meeting more interesting people ^__^ and highly influancing this trip to Japan. (after all the tours by Heiji and Kazuha, we wanna see Osaka!!)

Yup!
But sometimes it does get a bit distracting, realising that we've been to places that have been shown, and making lists of places we wanna go that they show. ^^;;
