[ficlet] MK. Just slightly Crispy

ickaimpIn addition to having red hair (which has finally settled to a nice darkish red-brown ^_^) we currently have pink face and arms.
Pain. Much pain. Sunburns suckth majorly. The process of getting it however was much fun and not to be regreted. Even if we did get scared off by big scary blacks cows who stared at us.
After talking to Ysabet, a plunnie spawned.
Because, after all, what fun is having stuff happen to you if you can't turn it into a fic and laugh at it?

Hakuba took one look at Kuroba’s face as he walked into the classroom and boggled. Hakuba then proceeded to rest his head against the smooth surface of his desk and proceeded to snicker. Loudly.
Kuroba took his seat and ignored him on the general principal of Hakuba being weird again.
However, when Aoko and Akako began to give him strange looks, he started to wonder. “Is there something on my face?”
”Well…” Aoko temporized. “Did you happen to glance at it this morning?”
”No.” He raised an eyebrow. “I was running late and in a hurry.” He’d accidentally slept in a little bit later than usual due to the fact that he’d had a heist the night before.
”Oh. Cause, uh…” Aoko made a motion towards one of her eyes. “You seem to have gotten a bit of a sunburn…”
”Sunburn?” He echoed, a bad feeling sinking into the pit of his stomach. Aoko nodded, her blue eyes wide.
Koizumi smugly offered him her compact case. He thanked her politely, opened the clamshell style case and peered into the mirror.
His face was pink. Pale pink, but obviously pink, as if he’d been out in the sun for just a bit too long. Except for one area.
A perfect normally coloured circle around his right eye, with a little bit of a pale spot on his nose.
Exactly where his monocle rested as the Kid.
”Spot lights a bit bright last night?” Hakuba snerked angelically.

Ever stood on a stage with those lights shining on you? Those suckers are hot!
Now just imagine how hot those big suckers they aim at the sky must be....
Looks like I'll be staying a few more days. Have one place that's a really good possiblity and a guy to talk to tomorrow. ^_^;; Wish me luck!
