Hakuba glanced around the classroom gravely. He was the only one in the room with the knowledge and experience to deal with this sort of thing and he was determined not to mess it up. "I need two oven mitts and some duct tape." He finally announced.

Students frantically looked around or scrambled for supplies. "I've got scotch tape."

"Found some masking tape!"

"Any oven mitts in the Home Ec room?"

"Take too long."

"Masking tape is fine." He determined. "Can I borrow someone's socks?"

A snickering Akako volunteered her black socks which he accepted.

The hard part was getting them to where he needed them, then securing them with the tape. Fortunately, Aoko and Keiko were his grinning assistants.

And when it was done and over with, he swore he would find an easier way to keep Kuroba from causing trouble during breaks other than taping socks over his hands.

Voices figured a while back that save knocking him out, prolly the only way to keep Kid in handcuffs was the 'Duct Tape and Oven Mitt' approch under the 'cuffs. Tape the oven mits shut around the wrists, can't slide them off and can't use fingers to pry the tape off either.
Failing that, socks.
Just not toe socks. Even if they do come in bright funky colours.
