[drabble] MaLoki: Why Heimdall is Grumpy

-got the box. ^__^
"Sheesh." Narugami half-glared at his half-brother. "For a God of Light, you sure are a grouch."
"Narugami." Heimdall sighed with restrained patience. "You're aware of the fact that I have Nine Mothers?"
"The Daughters of Aegir, yes. He throws good parties."
"Exactly. Nine Insanely Loud, Cheerful, Playful, Exuberant Mothers who all think that their Only Son needs to spend Quality Time Only with Them."
"Oh."
"Or have chores that they want done." Heimdall added darkly.
"It's enough to send any sane God to go guard a bridge by himself until the giants attack, huh?"
"That or get really drunk."

Mental picture for the Moms were Mommy A and Mommy B from 20 Mensou Onegai (or Man of Many Faces)
Heimdall really doesn't seem to know how to handle people well... kinda reminded me of Hale from the one Jungle anime, where his mom is really exuberant (and drunk) and he takes things WAY too seriously because he's trying to take care of her.
Multiply that by 9... and you get one skitzo kid. XD
I've also got 3 mothers: one biological, 2 who raised me together. Approching Mother's Day is still enough to send me into a quivering mess of nerves. If I gave biological mother any sort of gift, it'd be used against me later because I 'loved her best' and she had proof. If I didn't, it would be used against me later because I 'didn't love her at all'. ~_~
My other 2 moms are cool about it, but that sort of thing is enough to make anyone run screaming.
Father's Day so much easier.
