Happy Lurker Day!!! For the Lurkers, a Quick Meme!

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.
3. For each song that plays, write something related to the theme you picked inspired by the song. You have only the time frame of the song: no planning beforehand: you start when it starts, and no lingering afterward; once the song is over, you stop writing. (No fair skipping songs either; you have to take what comes by chance!)
4. Do 10 5 of these, then post.

-Due to time constraints (I'm ready to fall asleep) am only doing 5 instead of 10. But wanted to say thank you to all the readers and lurkers for your support over the years. So, a mis-mash of fandoms!

Lift Me Up - Moby

"You always talk in riddles." Saguru complained, hands tied behind his back. The thief was a silky presence at his back, the slippery material of the cape brushing Saguru's bound hands.

"Plain talking never served me well." Kid said mildly, gloved fingers working at the handcuffs that bound his hands. "Usually ends up with me getting hit with something."

Fish, or a mop, if it was Aoko that Kid was referring to.

The handcuffs sprung free and Saguru found his back cold as Kid moved away. He had a brief moment of fear that the Kid was leaving him behind, and then a gentle clink removed the handcuffs around his own wrists.

"Come on." Kid said as Saguru rose. "Lift me up and we can get out of here."

We used to be Friends - Dandy Warhols

"We used to be friends." Jounouchi glared at Kaiba. "A long time ago."

"I don't remember that." Kaiba stared back cooly. He was distant, glacial. Jounouchi felt his muscles tense, wanting to melt that freeze.

"I do." JOunouchi shot back. "Even if the only time you ever talked to us was when you needed help."

Kaiba sneered. "More like the other way around."

"Yeah?" Jounouchi smirked. "Can't see how it's changed. You need my help, and I could use yours."

Kaiba was quiet.

"Your call."

"Fine." Kaiba twitched. "Help me get around this sickening saccharine holiday of Valentines and you can name your price. Within reason."

"I'd say to be friends again, but I can't see you going for that." Jounouchi admitted.

Kaiba's lips curved up in a smile. Maybe this could work.

La la la la la LA! - Boy Eats Drum Machine

Her mother was worried about her again. Alice didn't see any reason to worry, just because she didn't wish to be married.

There was only one man on her mind these days anyway, and no one here in London or England or even India or China could compare. Alice pressed her hands against the glass of her looking mirror.

Underland. She wanted to go back. She didn't need any other men, she just wanted to see Tarrant again. It was a stupid, sickeningly sweet heroine thought, out of some dreadful romance, but it was true.

She knew if she went back to Underland, she'd never return to the 'real world' again.

More and more, that was acceptable to her.

But this was not the place and time, not yet at least.

Soon.

Take me to the Riot - Stars

"Oh, my god." Britt stretched, getting the kinks out of his back. "What a crazy night."

"You say that like we go up against a Riot every day." Kato snerked as he peeled off his gloves.

"Can you think of a better way of spending a Saturday night?" Britt chuckled, already reaching for the pain killers. These bruises were going to last a while. No big fights for at least a week. Him, Kato and the Black Beauty against fifty or more people intent on causing as much property distraction as they could. God, what a night. He plopped down on the couch in Kato's lab with a satisfied grunt.

Kato thought it over. "No better way." He agreed, sitting down on the couch next to Britt. The couch sagged, broken struts after a engine being dropped on it caused a permanent lean towards the middle. Kato slowly tilted until he was leaning against Britt, the two of them staring up at the ceiling, exhaustion catching up to them.

"Don't kick me out just yet." Britt asked quietly as Kato's breath started to slow, his partner falling asleep on his shoulder. It was comfortable like this.

"You can stay." Kato promised, and then they were both asleep.

You're a Wolf - Sea Wolf

Gokudera ran into an old gypsy woman when he was walking by a river in italy, her lips stained red with a bottle wine. "You're a wolf, boy." She spat. "The one that you're looking for, you're not going to find him here. Get out of this town."

He'd thought she was crazy, another one who'd hit the drink too hard.

But she was right, it felt like he was looking for something. Someone. A place to belong.

A pack.

The one that he'd been looking for, he wasn't to find in Italy.

So when the chance came for him to leave, travel across the ocean, he took it.

He went to Japan and met Tsuna.

And he wasn't a lone wolf anymore.
