Those two, Aoko mused, where the only ones she knew who fought like Cats and Fish.

Kaito: I goofed up as the Kid. I'm sorry.
Hakuba: That's okay. Let's have lots of comfort sex.

Shin'ichi/Hakuba:

This was written in Japan after shopping for djs in Shibuya. ^^;; (dang things are HEAVY!) We went after all the ones with Hakuba in them first, in case you couldn't notice. *Whistles innocently*
Am SO not a fan of Seme!Shin'ichi. ~_~ He's a dork. And angry bastard one too. He's better as the series uke, IMHO.

Someone commented that it sounds like GundamWing dj plots... o_O Whoops.

Heh. My Snark worked on a sea diving rig where a fish tried to eat his partner. Got the bottom half of his suit, boots and all. Needless to say, the screaming was a bit unnerving. *g*

Now THAT was fun to read-- mucho thankees, Icka! Liked the cats&fish one a lot (but do you know, cats *really* don't want to take over the world; if they did, they'd have to handle all the paperwork and plumbing problems and payroll for staff and everything. They'd much rather be treated as near-dieties and have their every whim obeyed, much as mine at home are already...). The doujinshi thing, now... THAT was the best part (has mental image of Icka, sitting on the floor surrounded by stacks and stacks of douj and peering at one with a horrified expression: "Heiji and... SONOKO?!? No way-- he has *taste*!!). Was going through a few of mine last night and you're right; at least the DC ones aren't as angst-ridden as the Yami no Matsuei ones, especially the ones featuring Muraki. On the other hand, occasionally the Muraki ones get sort of funny, but the plot almost ALWAYS goes like this:

Tsuzuki: Bounce, bounce, c'mon Hisoka, I'm being genki today!
Hisoka: Mope, mope; so what else is new? Go away.
Tatsumi: Get to work, you slackers, or I shall whack you with my Evil Shadowy Accountant's Glare!
Watari: I'm here to provide a True-Genki-Master moment of humorous contrast to Tatsumi's being a downer! And my owl's cute, too!
003: Flutter, flutter, hoot!
Hisoka: Mope, mope, much more of this and I'm on a rooftop with a rifle, I swear...
Muraki: I have mysteriously shown up in the Meifu! I shall now proceed to molest Tsuzuki, either in disguise or by overwhelming him with my charm/evil vibes/irresistable sexual attraction! Molest, molest, grope...
Tsuzuki: Yay! I mean 'Help!' (significant pause for PWP-development)
Tatsumi/Hisoka/Watari: AHA!! Caught you with your pants (or somebody's, anyway) down!
Tsuzuki: Darn! I mean, yay!
Muraki: Dangit; foiled again. I shall now mysteriously vanish, possibly leaving behind a bill for today's work.
Hisoka: Baka; you're okay, right? Good. Bakabaka.
Tsuzuki: **whimper**
Hakushaku (elsewhere): Whoohooo; got it all on tape!

..... and there you go.

That Cat & Fish one was partially your fault for making Hakuba alergic to Cats in the first place anyway. ^^

As far as the Doujinshi, picture small room (http://www.mischif.net/sakura/6b.jpg) with 3 girls curled up on their beds surrounded by STACKS and PILES of various doujinshi (and suitcases), snickering, blushing, squealing or drooling out loud and passing around the yaoi ones to compare.
And the guys stopping by occasionally to take a peek as well. ^__^ ("Dude, the human body -cannot- twist like that." "Sure they can. See?" *streach, twist pose* "I stand corrected... #^^#")

J'z doujinshi are my favourite, the art leans more towards a clean comic style, but the stories are sweet, cute, funny fluff involving Heiji/Kaito/Shin'ichi shonen-ai. (yes, all three. together. XD )

*snickers at the YnM dj plot* Tsuzuki is a pro at the Uke Dance. ^_^
And I love the mental image of Hisoka on a rooftop with a rifle. Wish he was the manical laughter type, that'd be fun. >D
