Gods, my brain feels like so much mush right now.

Okay. Weekend. ysabet made it home Friday night, safe and sound. Yays. Stayed up much too late at Denny's talking.

Saterday. One word: CORONATION.
Eduard is King once more with his lovely Queen, Asa.
.... Eduard is an interesting King. And not just because he only has one eye.
He gave a speech to the populace, stalking up and down the central aisle, waving a large gold mace. (we were half expecting him to say 'this is my boom stick!' at one point) A large gold mace with a very nice nasty looking dagger in the hilt. And then demanded to know that everyone was going to Estrella War to Kick Ass in a speech worthy of the WWE.
-He also has the entire populace trained so every time he says 'Action', everyone shouts 'Awesome!'. I don't know where this came from, but it rocks. (the site tokens read 'A.A.' because of this)

... have also discovered that this LJ has SCA lurkers, not just Anime lurkers. @_@;;

Came back to housesitting and discovered kitty vomit and liquid all over the kitchen floor. Ew.

Sunday.
Was supposed to go to the fighting half of Coronation. We did not.
Have discovered just how isolated I kinda am at housesitting... no phone, no net. There was a distinct lack of communication there. *face palm*
Am working on rectifying this.

Mim-kitty is definitely sick. Thanks to wren_chan for listening to our freak-out.

Today:
Mim-kitty still sick. She's on her way to the vet now.
[Update: Vet says Mim swallowed a string or something she shouldn't have. They're keeping her overnight to hydrate her and she goes into surgery tomorrow. Send hugs to elinor_dear.]

This weekend is Southern Crusades and TusCon (Sci-Fi Con). The weekend after that, I'm gonna curl up and hide for a bit.

[Edit: A roadrunner just came up to the window and peered in! *squeeees*]
