We actually drew this when the title of the 11th movie, just finally got around to inking it...

I really need to get my scanner to pick up on my Kid (Kaptain Kid) that I drew up months ago. Sadly, I colored portions with markers and now it won't pick up on the pencil. Arrrrr!

Love the attitude of Conan Kurosagi ^.^ Especially the second pic. the way he's holding the dagger in regards to the staff to make it look like a scythe.

Yay! Wasn't sure if that was obvious or not ^__^
In the sketchbook, the blade is flipped so that the bladed edge is the same as a scythe would have, but it really irritated me because that's not how you hold a knife to fight, so we flipped it back the other way.

-Ysabet's currently threatening to pick up a grey hoodie to have me paint the wings on it because she wants that jacket too. #^^#

But a word of warning-my Shinichi muse's NOT all too happy with you since you just gave my Kaito muse all kinds of ideas with your 'Deal ch 13' picture...He loves the Conan pictures you put up through...So is your Conan Kurosagi a 'Shinigami' Because the Conan fanart with a scythe has me wondering. And in Deal ch 13, the 'Conan' reminds me of a harem boy or something out of Ancient Egypt...My Yu-Gi-oh muses noticed, and now they have all sorts of ideas...I really didn't need the plot bunnies, sheesh...*sighs*

Kurosagi isn't actually a shinigami, but we're having great fun playing around with the fact that death does follow him around everwhere. One of the reasons why he's 'Kurosagi' (Black Heron) in TGA.

Wait until you see some of the other shirts we've drawn for him. ~_^ My inner goth is cackling.

I love the harem!Conan picture (almost as much as I loved the coloured). Reminds me I need to get back to trying to fix whatever went horrifically wrong with HaremBoy!Kid from my own fanfictions (my body perportions are seriously off, it looks like a bad Egyptian carving).

body perportions are one of the hardest parts to get right. That and hands. Hands are a pain in the arse. It's taken me -years- to get people to look right.

The harem!Conan looks better in RL, IMHO... scanner just doesn't like pencil very well.

*laughs* my main problem is getting heads to not look like tenis balls on necks...and for some reason bare feet, which honestly should not be that hard.

My scanner ate half of my shading on one of my pencil drawings I was scanning for a friend so now I have to go back and re-shade it darker before playing with it in PSP to get it to show up right (instead of scratches across his neck). I'm slightly amused that the scanner picked up the lip pencil on my Seto/Yami picture better then it did regular pencil.
