Vacation, all I ever wanted...

Much much fun today.
Showed up at the airport about 2 hours earlier than I needed to in order to check in and spent the time reading Neil Gaiman's "American Gods". Very good read so far. Lot of interesting concepts about the old tradtions and coming to America.

Ysabet's very cool too. Tried Ethiopian food for the first time. You eat the thick stews with bread held between your fingers. And you can eat the plate the stew is sitting on! It's bread!
Met Morgan as well, 'Neechan, you'd get along well with her, and had a grand time exploring an old bookstore. Found a first edition 'Alice in Wonderland' there, very surprised and cool.

Tomorrow's the drive to Animefest, that'll be interesting. Right now, I'm pooped and glad to be here.

... and I've got a ferret trying to crawl up my pj pants leg... *squeaks and laughs*

**laughes** Why, thank you! You're very cool too! Sorry 'bout the weasles, they do that to EVERYBODY. Trust me, it's better than having 'em go down your shirt; have had that happen in the past. NOT so fun-- they tickle and scratch.
