We have a lot of talented people in the DC community, so I'm hosting a competition/bet.

When you place your vote, comment with something you're willing put to on the line. Writing a Fic, Drawing a Picture, Making an Icon, A Banner, A new LJ Layout, something you're willing to do for someone else.
If there are personal restrictions, such as nothing mature or a pairing you don't like, please state it in your comment.

If you do not post something to barter, you're not eligible to get anything in return. Period. However, please feel free to join in the debate over who you think it is. ^__^

The poll will close the week that the answer is revealed in Shonen Sunday and I'll announce the people who chose correctly, who didn't and what is up for grabs. People can comment what they would like and I'll match them up. Icka's word is final, arguing will get you no prize at all.
Should there be more people who guessed correctly than those who didn't, Icka will make up the slack.

'Kay I went for Toichi... since he was my first guess and should I be mistaken (Probably vermouth just because that was my other guess XD) but should I be wrong with Toichi then I'll write a fic for someone... preferably under PG-13... I'm not very good with anything higher and I'm best with Canon pairings though I could possibly pull off the other ones ^^;; Go ahead and feed me lines or a plot of your choice however and I'll get it up (may not get up until beginning of july since we're int he middle of moving but will do ^^)) Or if you'd rather... I can also photoshop a banner for someone if they give me a line or two of what they want it about- one or the other I'm open for...

I agree that it's Tochi. Why, because he just seemingly screams Kaito with his slouching easy-going pose, his grin, the fact that his outfit looks a lot like Kid's, and like written above;it's from 10 years ago and the book he was looking at was on Lupin.

I can draw fanart (which would have to be snail mailed seeing that my scanner is currently dead), or I can (try) and write a drabble with a given idea or plot (thats under PG-13).

Definitely think it's Toichi. Like everyone else says, he has that Kaitou Kid air about him and he definitely has the movements of a Kaitou Kid. So...yeah. Dunno what he's doing in that library at that moment in time, but *shrugs*

And I'll bet a fanfic. Gonna say it doesn't matter the rating, but I warn you, I suck at anything abover R rating, so...yeah.

That and it's been a while since I've actually written a fanfic, so you'll have to forgive the ugliness. :D;;;

Reasoned it's Toichi. Reading "Arsene Lupin, the Phantom Thief Avatar (warrior of god?)" Treasure hunt? Although the babble about liking blood kind of puts me off a bit. >_O Doubt Shinichi's parents would mess with him when it involves Ran like that too. I don't think the other three met them that early before... certainly too chatty and mind-screwy for Gin... and Shuichi. Vermouth... nah.

I can offer to do an icon (but it wouldn't be animated or mutli layered edited whiz bang ones see all over LJ), scan a doujinshi or send a DVDR of selected episodes ... just no short time limit please to get it done in (working 2 jobs).

Has Toichi ever been in the Conan manga (barely in Kid manga right?) ?? Not that I can think of. I'll admit the reading Lupin, jump down from bookcase, that smirk and the toying with their prey suits Kaitou Kid ... BUT Toichi has never met (ok as far as we know ~_~) Shinichi before ... this person called him Kudo Shinichi, ie must know him. And don't think the knife would be his style....

Person reminds me of Vermouth, how she was around young Jodie. Vermouth would know Shinichi because of Yukiko. Knife throwing? Oh yeah. Lupin? Amusing diversion. In the school? Pretty safe hideout. Looking like a guy? Been there, done that (Araide sensei).

Oo... I didn't quite get what's going on because I first read the japanese scans (don't think english were online then), but now I'm... stressed. Exctited. If it was Toichi, then the mustache missing is weird, but maybe it'd scale down the possibilities too much and is hidden because of that... This's breaking my brain. Need to think a little longer. *thniks for a while* Nah, I'm going for Toichi. I can draw art, I'm not much of a writer. No yaoi/yuri pairings please, but anything else goes. (it's summer = I'm drawing at home = my little sister & brother are at home too)

Thank you Icka! ^__^ I suspect it is the silver thingy that prevented me from seeing the main LJ site, since the sub-sites (like this one) work just fine. As stated before I'm betting it's Yusaku and will do fanart if I'm wrong. Also, no restriction but a pairing/scene the person I get to do fanart for wants to see is more than welcome. And if, against all odds, it turns out to be Yusaku I proly should mention I'm a fan of AkemiShuuichi. Actually I hope to be wrong so we can finally see Toichi(yay! Toichi's even cooler than his son) and have an excuse to do some fanart. XD
