While watching the xxxHolic movie (dog collars! *chortles*) noticed something interesting about this scene:

Must agree with what ninjatrauma said about the animation, a couple of places threw me off cause it was obviously motion captured, but over all it was pretty good.
Noticing that Watanuki's flailing about when he's really happy or pissed about something is similar motions to when he's having his head knawed on by a spirit. Wondering if it's a natural defense or something.

... we're also watching Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex and Gundam Seed at Anime Club.
-does anyone know what the major pairings are for Gundam Seed, out of curiousity? Failing that, any good fics?

Main Gundam Seed pairings? It's pretty much what you see in those couples' ending/opening sequences. Not too much mix&match in the het and slash communities that I can see.

Argh. We haven't gotten to the blond with the guns yet.
Keep expecting to find Kira/Athrun (we've been making snarky comments about them), but when I glanced at Fleeting Fancies, didn't really see it.
-we've only gotten to the Pink-haired girl and her bouncing ball. "Wanna see me mad?", so it's still early. ^^;;

Hmm... was expecting more ficcage for the series for some reason...

Oh there's lots of ficcage, but it's just almost always only the canon het pairings. Athrun/Kira and Yzak/Dearka is popular in the slash comms but it's much harder to track down good fics.

Gundam Seed

*headdesk* Stupid lj doesn't like me.
I'd suggest you check out Yanagi-sen's site "Tears in the Rain" as well as see if you can locate Weisshund's ficcage, I believe he has dabbled in this series as well. Both on lj, both tend to stray from het pairs. I'm not doing html because lj has eaten it the last 3 times. *headdesk on repeat*
