Well, it was probably the fact that I've always heard you and other joke about the "riding a white horse" but you'd never put it in fics or art until now and it just kind of shocked me for a minute (not to mention I hadn't had cracky yaoi references in a while *misses her TakagiSatou computer, yo*).

And I just want to note that I thought squids had 10 tentacles (two of them ending with those small paddle things and 8 normal ones...). Aren't octupi the ones that have 8? O_o?

Um... that was while I was working at the Sign Shop in So Cal...
The floor supervisor had his own boat. #^^# We had a good year, so he took the entire factory deep-sea fishing. (that was about 150 people, plus family)

Caught two fish and a large amount of seaweed. ^^;; Felt sorry for the squid.

Well, I only see one device that has a squid listed as wuch (http://atensubmissions.nexiliscom.com/cgi-bin/heraldry/OandA/oanda_bp.cgi?p=squid&c=case-insensitive&l=25&s=name+only&d=modern&g=enabled&a=disabled), although there are a number of Krakens (http://atensubmissions.nexiliscom.com/cgi-bin/heraldry/OandA/oanda_desc.cgi?p=KRAKEN), only one of which has wings (and bat wings at that). Can't spend long researching now. As always, the Aten Submissions website (http://atensubmissions.nexiliscom.com) is great for checking for conflicts. Hope it passes.

actually, think this just removed the largest sticking point, this means that there is a presidence for winged kracken/squid and there's more than 2 points of difference between mine and that one. ^____^

It should pass. We've got two points of difference with anything I can find, and there is precedent for putting wings on a sea monster, even if I can just see some heralds complaining about it being a "stylistic weirdness". Its legal, and there's precedent, so I can't see a logical reason for it to be returned. If nothing else, Icka will be able to fly it while its in submission, which should nicely cover the entire length of our stay here...

I love the heraldry. It's a good thing I'm at home 'cause I would've made a fool of myself in public if I seen it anywhere else. One note, squid have 8 tentacles and two extra ones that end in the paddle. ....That description sounds so wrong.

-Tried going for a kitsune with glasses, but I'm no good at animals -_-;

In the end, sha asked if no-one could thing enough outside the box to draw something she had never seen being used before.

(Note that this is the same teacher who told us that we all needed to "give your drawed women more boobage! Do you want them to ask for breast implants!?". Actual wording. She's very cool that way XD )
