Made it back safe and sound from LA. Surprisingly, the train was on time too. Ended up sharing a compartment with a very nice guy named Chris who looked like he had just had his face bashed in. *shrugs*

Okay, kinda stuck on a plunnie and we haven't been able to find an answer. If anyone could help us out, would be really really grateful.
Does anyone know when you take the entrance exams to get into the universities? What time of year and such.

Tôdai (for example) has its on 25-27th of February and 13th of March this year. Application for taking part in the exams is from the 24th of January (i.e. today) till the 2nd of February.


... and that's for going to school, starting in April?

The school year always starts on th 1st of April, I think it's just reasonable to do the same with universities *laughs*
