Takagi groaned, looking down at the body. “Not another one...”
”Another one.” Sato verified, giving her gloves a snap.
Megure sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked away from the gruesome scene. “How many does this make?”
”Three, sir.”
”Three?”
”Yes, sir. First there was the tiger, then the rabbit…”
Sato caught Conan, gently picking him up and setting him outside the ring of officers. “This isn’t for kids.”
Conan sulked.
”Pack it up, people.” Megure sighed again, looking at the dead toucan with the knife sticking out of it’s chest. “We’ve got us a Cereal Killer.”
