King of Bandit Jing Ramble: It's the Black Ops all over again.
Re-watched the first disk of 'King of Bandit Jing'.
Am feeling slightly stupid as I missed a bunch of puns the first time.
Everybody's DRUNK!!!
First clue should have been when we realised a few days ago that 'Jing' in katakana is spelled 'JI-N'.
First person they meet: Vodka.
Then there's the Mayor, Congac
There's also the town of 'Blue Hawai'i"
A Fox named 'Sherry'.
Looking up 'Kir Royale', finding out that 'Kir' is a Wine Cocktail, and a 'Kir Royale', his attack, is a Kir in a champane flute with champane instead of white wine.
... running a quick search on names in another window and it's safe to say that EVERYONE is named after some sort of drink!!! o_O Sheesh...
Except for Postino... think his name means 'Post-It Note'. *nods*
Episodes 3 & 4 are a parody of Peter Pan too, you've got NeverLand, Captian Hook, Adonis is Peter Pan, stopping time, Rooster soliders, Mirabelle as Wendy, Lost Boys... sheesh.
Tho I'm pretty sure Adonis is sleeping with his fox... ^^;;
And I gotta run, gonna try to see if we can watch 'Full Metal Panic' in the company of others in stead of running laughing.
