Weekend Retort
Y'ever have that feeling like something big is building up on the horizon, like a wave just before it crashes into the shore and changes the landscape, but you're not quite sure what it is or when it's gonna crash?
Ye-ah. Like that.

Already wrote about Friday, Saterday morning I cleaned house like a mo-fo while Ysabet was at traffic school, which is only something I can really seem to do when the house is empty. Also put some toys up in the yards for the wind to play with. While I still had the momentum up, went to Johannes' house to get garb done. Megs and I now have Horde bow bags, pilgrim bags to finish off and decorate, and we're 3/4th of the way done with a new summer del for Johannes. \o/ New pattern for the del, it's fewer pieces, but slightly tricker to sew in some ways.

lil_1334's house. *points to self* Hahahahaha. ^__^ With some help from Megs! <3
... And continue to freak people out by occasionally wearing shorts and their realising that I actually do have legs under my long skirts. ^_______________________^
Sunday, we played D&D. Honestly think this was one of the best rounds we've played, and not just because I played 'Ring Around the Dwarf' with a large axe-wielding bandit. XD I move, tell Korgrin to smack the bandit. The bandit moves, Korgrin smacks him again. The bandit attacks and misses. I move...
Probably cowardly as far as tactics, but eventually effective and funny. Although now we need a healer for our Cleric. Eep!

Cleaning is the same way for me. It's easier with no one around. Must be the thing of not having anyone around to distract you from the mess.

DnD was, so far, the best session. I was afraid I had actually thrown too much at the party, then started losing track of which monster was getting hit at any point in time. I was very pleased with how everyone has come to understand the system, and there's a present for everyone once I can confirm that all are in the maillist.
As far as knowing something's over the horizon and building...sometimes the anticipation is a delicious tension, sometimes it's interminable.
