It's the fever. The longer and higher the temp, the more the 'armour' grows. As of currently, I don't know if Jou having a fever would do the same thing to him. IMHO, Dragons probably would have a higher temperature normally. ... The problem is, -I'm- still not sure what bonded with Kaiba to make the armour. For all I know, it's insectiod.
As far as the brothers, I get the feeling that Mokuba spends more time outside, there fore has a darker skin tone then Seto, who's inside working on the business and projects more often. If you look at the Kaiba bros hair (aside from length), they've got the same fringe. (and siblings do end up with different hair and eye colours. but no, I don't think it's been addresssed) -Noa has the same fringe as well, but in two-tone. I think they based Noa off of Seto from the first animated season, because Seto is wearing a similar white outfit and has green hair.
Yeah, I got strange vibes off of the Noa arc too. Big 5 are all perverts, and not in a good way. Lemme know when you get to the end of the arc, cause really, Noa x Mokuba is pretty much canon. ~_^
Should put in authour's notes that I'm not actually really sure about if Seto made a better Pharaoh or not. Mati found in the manga where Bakura states that getting rid of Zorc killed the Pharaoh and all six priests. But if Seto became Pharaoh, he's no longer a priest, is he? ^^;; And then the Memories arc is kinda strange, it's stated that it differs from what actually happened, because of various events. But Seto loves to build things so much... and we couldn't resist the line about 'who else would carve Duel Monsters into stones'? ^____^

... Actually... The Winged Kuriboh will see Judai again. -They're the main characters of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, which takes place ten years after the end of Yu-Gi-Oh!, where they attend the Duellists Academy that Seto's 'currently' building. . ~_^ Yuugi gives Judai the Winged Kuriboh in the first episode, and he can see it as a spirit. (one of the things in the GX series is that some of the playing cards have spirits in them. ~_^ Certain cards follow 'their' person.) Judai will make another appearance later.
