While looking up curry recipes last night, I found this article to be rather interesting, about how curry came to Japan from Britain of all places.
Kaito: What's this?
Saguru: It's Curry, Kuroba. Surely you should be able to recognize that.
Kaito: I know what curry looks like, Hakuba. I've only eaten it all my life. That *points to the dish* is not curry.
Saguru: It's a good standard Indian curry.
Kaito: It looks like something Nakamori would make.
Saguru: Nakamori-keibu cooks?
Kaito: ... If you can call it that. *shudders*
Saguru: I see...
Kaito: What's this?
